Alfred Alvarado is a threat researcher with the Trellix Advanced Research Center’s Threat Intelligence Group. Alfred has been in the technology field for over 20 years working with a variety of system and security technologies in multiple sectors. Three years ago, he joined McAfee as a threat researcher and transitioned with his team to Trellix. As part of the Trellix Advanced Research Center, Alfred’s multi-sector experience is a valued asset that lends to his capabilities during threat-hunting operations and identifying behaviors, tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors as they carry out nefarious tasks.
