Leandro Velasco

Security Specialist

Leandro Velasco, has 10 years of experience in IT security. He began his career managing SIEM systems and endpoint security products. At his previous role as a Security Researcher for KPN he analysed security threats and designed detection and mitigation solutions. In his current role, as a Security Specialist at the Trellix Advance Research Center (ARC), he tracks and analyses Advanced Persistent Threats and designs automatic solutions for malware analysis. Leandro has spoken at DEFCON 26 Blue Team Village, HackTalk 15, MISP Summit 05 and Calgary Cyber Summit 2022.
